Regional Energy Manager

A Regional Energy Manager writes policies and develops energy plans that are implemented at the facility level for their region or program.  Responsible for region or program energy utilization tracking, federal requirement compliance, and overall program management.

Common Titles: 

Energy Team Lead, Network/VISN Energy Manager, Program Energy Manager, Grades GS 12-15, 801 Occupational Series

Education/Training: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred but not required, preferably mechanical or electrical engineering 

Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred and may be required.
